| "Cooper's Lake is a great family camping experience. A beautiful mix of wooded sites and open areas. The lake is large enough for fishing and there are many nice places for kids of all ages to play. Our family will come again - excellent location too!" - Barb, camped at Hilltop | ![]() Camping on Hilltop |
| "Last weekend we stayed at your campground with the primary intent of watching our older daughter run in the Slippery Rock Invite (she runs for Wash & Jeff). We also brought our younger daughter (age 5). We knew there would be a Halloween Party, but we had no idea how enjoyable it would be. The Invite, Trick or Treat and the generous Halloween party made our 5-hour drive worthwhile. If we lived closer, I would plan on next year as well. Thank You." - Becky, New York | ![]() Halloween 2009 |
| "The campground facilities were great and we had a lot of luck fishing. We had a great weekend!" - Dan, fishing on the penninsula | ![]() Fishing on the Penninsula |
| "Cooper's Lake is somewhere I grew up! My family and I started camping there when I was about 4 years old around 1993, and would come just about every summer weekend for the following years. No other campground compared to the big barn, the Halloween party, the frog jumping contests, the candy tosses, the bike trails, paddle boating, sitting around the campfire next to the lake in a giant circle with our camping neighbors singing old country songs... the list is endless really! I returned to Cooper's Lake about a year or two ago after a several year gap and at this point I was 20 years old, and everyone there still remembered me! This campground is a great memory and I cannot wait to keep the tradition going! :)" - Mindi, camped by the lake | ![]() Camping by the Lake |
| "The site was very peaceful and quiet with the sound of running water from the creek surrounding the site." - Shelli, camped at Creekwood | ![]() Creekwood |
| "Just looked up your site and was reminded how much fun we had the times
we camped with you.
We camped a number of times when I lived in Cheswick, PA (Allegheny County). We now live in North Carolina and have lived in South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. We have never found a campground like Cooper's Lake. I was just telling my 16 year old that the last time we camped was the summer before I got pregnant with him. I want to come up this summer...who knows I might. One funny story though. We were camping with my daughter and her two best friends, plus one of the best friends older brother. We had our dog, Maggie. Well late ...or very early we were asleep and all of a sudden Mags started barking - right next to my ear! From the light on at the next camp area we saw shadows through the tent wall. The shadow of a very large COON! Mags went through the tent wall and chased that coon for hours! BUT WHAT FUN! I recommend Cooper's Lake to anyone wanting to have old fashioned family fun!" - Linda, North Carolina |
